The Third Soup to Nuts Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival

The Soup to Nuts Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival is basically 5 different blog carnivals wrapped into one, where each blog carnival corresponds to a different course in this 5-course dinner.

Soup to Nuts Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival

Hey, wait a minute…

We already discussed how a blog carnival isn’t a group writing project, so why the blog carnival announcement? I thought it would be fun to try something a little different, so Group Writing Projects is hosting one of the dinner courses.

Your choice…5 times over

To quote the carnival organizer Kilroy: “You can enter as many as five posts in the Soup To Nuts Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival. If you wish, you can enter a single submission; or two or three or four or five.”

  • Only English language posts will be accepted.
  • You can submit posts on any subject, no matter when they were written i.e. they don’t have to be new.
  • One blog post per dinner course – per host blog – is allowed, for a total of 5 blog posts.
  • Please do not submit the same post for more than one course.
  • No posts with titles that include profanity or pictures of a sexual nature.
  • Posts will not be accepted from blogs that publish primarily adult-oriented material.
  • Submit your posts one at a time via the Blog Carnival website, each time choosing the corresponding category.

  1. While a blog carnival isn’t a group writing project, Soup To Nuts, in a way, incorporates a similar dynamic. It’s important for the hosts to work together to pull off a great event.

Taken to the next step, whether you contribute posts or visit those who do, writing comments is a great way to get in on the fun and get a lot of benefit for your blog.

These are things I’m well acquainted with because I have picked up most of my links and a ton of traffic from doing carnivals; I’ve also helped host the first two editions of Soup To Nuts.

Good luck with your course. I’ll be posting a promo for Soup To Nuts.

  2. Hi Anthony,
Blog carnivals are valuable to bloggers and one of the reasons I agreed to host part of Soup to Nuts is that I agree with you; it’s not like most other, regularly-occurring, blog carnivals. I do hope and expect many bloggers in the Group Writing Projects Community to get involved.

    Thanks for the well-wishing.

    I think I still owe you a photo…
