Ask the Readers: Why Haven’t You Done a Group Writing Project Yet?

Of all the group writing projects over the summer, many were firsts for their blogs. If you still haven’t run your own group writing project on your blog, what are you waiting for?

Paper Pen Question Mark

Starting a group writing project can be as simple as…

  1. Choosing a theme
  2. Choosing a submission deadline
  3. Copying and adapting one of the many announcements here on Group Writing Projects – why waste time trying to think up your own rules?
  4. Telling me about your gwp so that I can promote it for you here on Group Writing Projects

That’s it.

So what are you waiting for? Tell us in the comments and we’ll help you over the hump.

What’s blocking you from starting a group writing project?

  1. Good question Jacob, I’ve been wanting to do my Group Writing Project for a while now but never did it yet. I guess the only thing blocking me must be the lack of time…

  2. But Mirko, the recipe I give above would probably take you less than 10 minutes to follow. And you’re lucky – the design field is particularly vibrant in the blogosphere but there has only been one gwp of note this year, Jacob Cass’s.

A gwp would be a great way to call attention to DesignerDaily.

Perhaps what you really need is help choosing a theme?
